Personal guidance through every step of the memorial process.

Southard Monument Sales is simple: families should not have to feel overwhelmed when choosing a memorial for someone they love.

My name is Daniel Southard, and I’m proud to call the Owensboro area home. Outside of Southard Monument Sales, I work in education and serve as the Head Boys Cross Country Coach at Apollo High School. Being involved with students, athletes, families, and the local community is a big part of who I am, and I bring that same sense of responsibility and personal care into this business.

My goal is to make the monument process feel as clear, comfortable, and straightforward as possible. There are a lot of decisions involved — design, granite, lettering, cemetery requirements, foundations, production, and installation — and most families have never had to navigate any of those things before.

I want to help lift some of that weight.

From the first conversation through the final installation, I’m here to answer questions, explain options, coordinate the details, and guide families through each step with patience and without pressure.

Whether you’re planning ahead or choosing a memorial after the loss of a loved one, my hope is that Southard Monument Sales can provide a little more clarity, confidence, and peace of mind throughout the process.

We proudly serve Owensboro and surrounding Kentucky communities, helping families create lasting memorials that are personal, meaningful, and built to endure.
